Why is this visible?

Your browser exposes these values so pages can render properly: screen size for layout, languages for translation, timezone for dates. Combined, they form a "fingerprint" that can recognize you across sites, even without cookies.

The WebRTC test

WebRTC powers in-browser audio/video calls. It historically could leak your local IP address to any site. Modern browsers hide it behind a ".local" (mDNS) identifier: the test above tells you whether yours protects you.
