Transparency about network data should be accessible to everyone. Many users are unaware that they are tracked and geolocated via their IP address. Our goal is threefold:

Unlike many online services, Ipzy does not store any personal data. We do not keep your IP address, do not create user profiles and do not use tracking cookies.
The only data processed is transmitted in real time to third-party APIs to retrieve geolocation information. These APIs act independently according to their own privacy policies.

Editorial method
Ipzy guides are written to explain networking concepts in a practical way, without promising more than an IP address can actually reveal. Each article separates technical facts, interpretation limits and cases where information depends on a third-party provider or local configuration.
We focus on topics directly related to the tool: public IP, private IP, ASN, DNS, IPv4, IPv6, CGNAT, approximate geolocation, DNS leaks, IPv6 leaks, latency and network privacy. When a topic evolves, we update the relevant page instead of creating many very similar pages.
